Missed Appointments (Did Not Attend) Policy

Appointments at the practice are in high demand. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel it as soon as possible so it can be offered to another patient.

If you do not attend a booked appointment without cancelling, this will be recorded in your medical record. The practice may contact you to understand the reason for the missed appointment.

If you miss three appointments within a 12-month period without cancelling , the practice may review the situation and discuss this with you. Continued non-attendance may result in further action, which could include removal from the practice list, in line with NHS guidance.
